Art
We've been very fortunate to take advantage of my sister's wonderful talents in art and instruction, combine them with the technology of Skype, and close the 3000 mile gap between here and Alaska once a week for an art class. The girls LOVE getting that time with their aunt! This year they are learning about a variety of early American to modern American artists. Two of these were Winslow Homer and Edward Hopper, known for their watercolors. Below are the projects Sonia had the girls complete. Carrie copied Homer's "Casting". The other girls copied Hopper's "The Long Leg".

Beautiful! That's wonderful that they get to spend time with their Aunt and learn to paint at the same time.
